PICK YOUR OWN COVID-19 GUIDELINES

• Pick your own open days/hours are subject to weather and availability. PLEASE call or check our facebook page to ensure we are open before you come

• No reservation required – picking appointments will not be taken

• All farm staff will be wearing masks

• Masks will be required for customers in the Pick Your Own entrance tent, not required once in field for picking

• Social Distancing Required – maintain 6 feet

• We will be limiting amount of people in the field

  • Groups of 5 or less recommended - We recognize that picking can be a family activity, but we are encouraging you to keep numbers to a minimum

• Cost will be based on container not weight

  • Charging by volume ensures you have a great time without our staff having to handle your picked produce

• Prepayment of strawberries will be required before entering the field at our pick your own tent

• Only pickers will be permitted in fields – to encourage distancing and maximize limited space in the field

  • Those who do not purchase picking container will not be permitted in field, unless kids under 6 who are accompanying adults

  • When the field is full there will be a waiting queue with appropriate 6’ markings

• Containers will be provided and cost is based on container not weight

  • The price of the pail and basket is based on value of a full basket

  • 5.5L pail = $26.00

  • 2L basket = $12.00

• If you bring back a container/basket with our name that was purchased in a previous year a credit will be applied to the cost

  • 5.5L pail = $1.00 off

  • 2L basket = $0.50 off

  • All other reusable containers/basket sizes from home will not be accepted into the fields

• Row directors will direct you to a row and you will be required to stay in that row to maintain social distancing

• To limit germ spreading no sampling or eating in the field is permitted

• Hand sanitizer will be provided and mandatory before entering field

• Transportation to and from the field for individuals, some exceptions will be made

  • We will transport berries so you don’t have to carry your load!

• All methods of payments will be permitted

• There will be a portable washroom on site

• We love dogs but no dogs are allowed at the Farm Market or Pick your own

• Ready picked berries will be available in our farm market

• Take Care - If you are feeling sick or unwell, please stay home!
